The new Sierra Heavy Duty, or HD features an available 6.6-liter Duramax Turbo-Diesel V8 engine, allowing for incredible efficiency, responsiveness and power:

This diesel engine offers optimized performance through its dual-path intake system, which draws dense, cool air through both the hood scoop and the larger grille. The Duramax Diesel engine also comes with an after-run cooling function to continue to idle the engine after extended and exhaustive periods of use for proper cooldown of vital underhood components.
2024 GMC Sierra 1500 Diesel Engine
Despite being a light-duty pickup truck, the new Sierra 1500 certainly shouldn’t be taken lightly – Lima area shoppers can choose the available 3.0-liter Duramax Turbo-Diesel engine to enjoy the following specs both on and off-road:
